Priyanka Chopra's 'Bhabhi', Neelam Faces Skin Allergy After Applying 'Haldi' Paste In Pre-Wedding

Priyanka Chopra's brother, Siddharth, got married to the love of his life, Neelam Upadhyaya, on February 7, 2025, in front of their family and friends. Siddharth and Neelam's intimate haldi ceremony had taken place on February 5, 2025, and Priyanka, around that time, had shared with the world that she was kicking off 'Sidnee ki shaadi with the happiest haldi ceremony'. However, now it looks like the haldi paste did not suit Neelam, as she has faced a terrible skin allergy around her collarbone area and has blamed her pre-wedding festival event for the same.

Priyanka Chopra's bhabhi, Neelam Upadhyaya blames haldi paste for her skin reaction

Priyanka had shared vibrant pictures from Siddharth and Neelam's haldi ceremony. However, a while back, on February 10, 2025, Neelam took to her Instagram stories to show the horrific reaction the haldi paste had on her skin. The photos that went viral from the haldi ceremony showed the actress was applied haldi heavily on her neck area. She shared a snap of her collarbone section, where her skin had a lot of red patches. Neelam did show off her tiny mangalsutra, but in her caption, she said that the haldi reacted because she was in the sun. She also requested her fans to suggest her some remedies.

What on earth? I think it's a reaction of the haldi paste to the sun. Although I did a patch test a few days before the function and everything was okay. Any remedies?"

Neelam's collarbone area was filled with an allergic reaction that had turned red because of the haldi. It looked like the pre-wedding haldi festivity that took place in an open space cost the actress a price, as the haldi did not suit her sensitive skin.

What did Siddharth Chopra and Neelam Upadhyaya wear for their haldi?

Siddharth and Neelam colour-coordinated in traditional yellow outfits for their haldi ceremony. Siddharth had worn a yellow kurta and had teamed it up with black shades. Neelam had worn a long blouse that was strappy and teamed it up with a skirt and dupatta. She completed her haldi function look with white accessories. Priyanka had also dressed as per the occasion and looked stunning in a yellow lehenga that she coupled with chandbalis and sunglasses.

Priyanka Chopra shared unseen pictures from 'Sidnee ki shaadi'

The photos shared by Priyanka of Siddharth and Neelam were all things love as they looked resplendent in yellow attires. Neelam had cutely even posed with her mother-in-law, Madhu Chopra. The Chopra's had a perfect family picture as Neelam's parents were also in the frame, and everyone looked their best in their stylish style. Everyone danced their heart out and applied unlimited haldi on the couple in love. It is said that Priyanka had been a cupid in Siddharth and Neelam's love life. This is because the duo had met on a dating app where PC had invested in the same.

Priyanka may have accidently played the role of a love guru, but Siddharth and Neelm's organic friendship eventually turned into love. They solemnised their relationship to become Mr and Mrs. Chopra.

What do you think of Neelam Upadhyaya's skin reaction to the haldi?
