When asked about his absence on the Bigg Boss 18 finale, Akshay said, "He was not that late. I had reached, yeah, he came a little bit late because he had some personal work. And then we spoke about it, and he told me that he was late about thirty-five to fourty minutes. And what happened that I had to leave. So then we spoke about it, and I left, but Veer was there, so he shot with him."
Earlier, a source told Hindustan Times, "Being as punctual as he is, Akshay turned up on the set for his shoot at the scheduled time, around 2:15 PM. But Salman hadn't come by then. Akshay waited for an hour for Salman to come, but he had a trial screening of Jolly LLB 3 on his schedule. Thus, after waiting for an hour, Akshay returned without even shooting for the show."
Directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur, the film is produced by Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, and Amar Kaushik. Sky Force is based on India's retaliatory attack on Pakistan's Sargodha airbase during the 1965 Indo-Pakistani air war.
