Rupali Ganguly is currently the most talked-about television personality. She is winning hearts with her performance in Anupamaa. She has been portraying the character for more than four years and has a large fan base. She has become a fan favourite, and her acting has been praised. She's done a lot of TV series previously, but what Anupamaa provided her is stunning. She recently discussed how people confuse the distinction between a character and an actor. She was speaking at Directors Kut Production's TV Actresses Round Table 2024, which was hosted on their YouTube channel.

Rupali Ganguly was spotted alongside Samridhii Shukla, Shivangi Joshi, Anita Raj, and Reem Shaikh. Ishika Shahi, Rajan Shahi's daughter, was the host of the talk. Rupali remembered being the villain in Sanjivani. She said how many do not comprehend that an actor is only performing his or her job by portraying that role.

She played Simran in the show and was once seen heading to a market with costar Gurdeep Kohli, the show's principal actor. She stated that a woman approached Gurdeep and asked her to stay away from Rupali. She further said that the woman thereafter addressed Rupali as 'kamini'. She said, "Gurdeep and I went to Lokhandwala to show and a lady came to us and took Gurdeep aside and told her 'Juhi, use dur reh, woh acchi nahi hai.' And then when she was passing by she called me 'kamini' and went."

Rupali stated that she cried that day and felt quite awful about it. Rupali then revealed that her father, a filmmaker, was concerned about who would marry her because she was the villain on television. She then played Monisha in Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai, and the perspective shifted.

She now plays Anupamaa, and people approach her and advise her to avoid certain people. Rupali stated that it feels amazing now.
